A master cast was fabricated in conventional fashion. The
previously fabricated Final Encode Abutments were placed onto
the master cast (Figure 16). Wax patterns were developed to
full contour and a facial silicone index was made (Figure 17).
The wax patterns were then cut back for porcelain application
(Figure 18). The castings were placed onto the master cast.
The facial silicone index identifies the initial contours to
be established in porcelain (Figure 19). The Final Encode
Abutments were removed from the master cast and placed onto
the verification cast for final interproximal contacts (Figure
20). The definitive porcelain contours were finalized on the
verification cast. The definitive crowns were fabricated on
the Encode Abutments and the dies of the natural teeth (Figure
21).

The
pre-established full contours of the wax patterns were
consistent with the contours of the definitive restorations
(Figure 22). The silicone index confirmed that the facial and
occlusal contours of the definitive implant restorations
replicated the original contours of the full contour of the
wax patterns (Figure 23). The anatomic emergence profiles
developed in the provisional crowns were also replicated. Note
that the implant and crown restorations were fabricated on one
master cast (Figure 24).
